Art III is an upper-level, full year, one-credit course designed for the more serious Art student who is interested in advancing their technical skills through the creation of more expressive work and in developing pieces to be used in a visual portfolio.
In addition to in-class projects, students are required to complete 3 sketchbook assignments per quarter that help to develop and challenge their creativity, drawing ability, and problem-solving skills. Homework is an integral part of each quarter grade. Art III is a prerequisite for Art IV.
